Words

Verse 1
There’s a game called football, and I need to play. I can’t hide my feelings and I have to say. It doesn’t matter that my love is warm, and your voice is sweet. I’ve got football all inside of me, in my head and my feet.
Verse 2
I know you see me on the TV-screen, and in magazines. I know you do me in the beauty shop, how I look, how I feel. I know you’re lonely, when you’re alone at night. But you’ll be sure I put my love for you into every fight.
Chorus
You know I feel like Jesus, when I step on the field. I’ve got a sense of eternity, and that it’s up to me. So intense that it’s hard to see. It’s a war of emotions between the ball and me.
Verse 3
If you only understand me, this can be real nice. We’ll have a house and a family, and fish with rice (sushi). You’ll see my point, when you see me play. I’m religion to men and kids, miles away.

Words

Verse 1
September was the first time, when you covered me in doubt. I can’t step back to see you clearer now. I’ve lost my head I am without. Oh, honey, honey, it’s the precious time, between the nightfall and the rise. If there’s a kingdom to be voted for, I am the minister of dice.
Verse 2
If I only had direction, I could run a million miles. But my compass spins like crazy. I play my cards in different piles. Oh, honey, honey, I can be the one that you care for and adore. If there’s a palace to be moving to, I will move with you some more.
Verse 3
September was the last time that I felt like this inside. And if my feelings do get through to you, there will be madness on the ride. Oh, honey, honey, I can get no sleep. You are a message from above. If I don’t do you like you tell me to, I’ll be like oven with no stove.
